    What's Up Klay?

I've bought a couple of original SVCDs from VCDGallery.com. I don't know if that's one of the "legal" vcd shops you've visited, but it's the only one that I know of.
They have a selection of about 40 movies on SVCD(I bought Rambo II, great quality) so I inquired if they were going to start selling more. They said that they were still waiting for it to take off, and if so, the companies would probably release more. Supply and demand I guess.
You should check their site , if you already haven't, and see if they have something you would like.

Yeah, I order almost exclusively from Eureka, I only order from VCD Gallery for SVCDs. I actually ordered "Dune" on vcd from VCD Gallery but there was something wrong with the first disc. To their credit they sent out a replacement set right away and it played fine.
I'm placing an order today with VCD Gallery for a couple of SVCDs. To cut down on shipping charges I got my friend to buy some discs so I'm only paying half. That might be something you could do to save a little more money.
