    This is probably either a problem with your media or a hardware failure.

    You should a) try a different brand of media and b) bring this up to the CDRDAO people.

    CDRDAO is the burning software that is part of VCDeasy.

  3. I recently had this problem and after trying everything I realised it was the CD writer that was the problem and had to replace it, lucky for me it was still under manufacturer waranty.. I suggest trying to use other burning programs if the problem persists then it's probably your writer thats damaged, also try lowering the write speed, even though my writer was broken I managed to get it working by lowering it to x8 or less.

    I also had the same error - but once i lowered the write speed it worked fine - good luck

    Just out of curiosity..
    Whats the model and brand of the burner, I have the same problems with mine...

    Mine doesnt want to burn anything.... Dont know why but my burner is a Philips CDD4801...
