    I have just ripped ice-age to my HD but when I play it back on PowerDVD I get no sound when the movie starts (the menu is fine). I have ripped loads of movies before, but this is the first time that this has happened.

    did you stream rip it? If you didn't include the first audio track PowerDVD will play without sound. It plays only track 1 unless your playing from the disk or an ifo file.

    I just used dvddecrypter and i have sound.
