I created two MPEG-2 files with the identical video and audio settings. I then merged those two files using TMPEGEnc's Merge & Cut tool.
When I played the combined file (on my SVCD disc) in my Pioneer 343, the video and audio was choppy. BUT when I played the original two files as separate tracks (on my SVCD disc), they played in their usual flawless way.
QUESTIONS
1/ Have you ever experienced this problem? If so, is Merge & Cut doing something bad to my files?
2/ Apart from the choppyness issue, I noticed that there is a small audio gap in the area of the combined MPEG-2 file when the files meet (even though the merged video looks seemless). Is this normal?
Thanks!
