I have got a mpeg2 file (including sound) about 3.9g big. When i use DVDit to burn it on DVD, DVDit said the project is too big. I haven't add any chapter or menu in.. just burn it with the actual mpeg2 only. So, anyone know what's the max file size of mpeg2 can DVDit accept?

Dvdit will extract the compressed mp2 audio from your mpeg and convert it to uncompressed PCM. This is about 1Gig in size for 90mins and so explains why your 3.9Gig video was too big for your 4.3Gig DVD-r!
Try a different authoring program that will accept mp2 audio such as Ulead DVD WS or Dazzle DVD complete. Both come highly recommended.
