    When converting from video captured at 704 x 480 to SVCD in TMPGEnc, the picture is distorted (stretched horizontally) when played on standalone player. VCDs turn out OK. I must've screwed up a setting somewhere. Any Ideas?

    Make sure you use the "Full Screen (keep aspect ratio 2)" settings, this will
    fix any distortion you might be having right now.

    Thanks, I had tried "Full Screen" and "Full screen (keep aspect ratio)". I'm glad I didn't have to work my way down the list.
