  1. According to vcdeasy, I have a 814mb mpeg2 file which can't be burned on to a 80 minute cdr because the maximum capacity is 807 mb. My cdr does not have overburning capability. Is there a way top use TMPGENc or another program to convert this mpeg2 to another mpeg2 but with a lower video bitrate so I can burn the cd?

I am unable to load the mpeg2 in Wizard for some reason. THis is the case even for a different mpeg2 I was able to burn successfully.WIzard seems to only be able to load mpeg1 and avi files in my case.

Is your TMPGEnc TMPGEnc Plus registered, or TMPGEnc original less than 14 days old? If it is yes to either question you should be able to encode MPEG-2s. If your version of Plus is not registered, or your original is expired, you cannot encode MPEG-2. You have to register a Plus version.

Iam able to convert divx, avi to mpeg2 svcd...but when I try to load mpeg2 into wizard, I get an error that it is an unsupported format. Even with mpeg2 files that I am able to successsfully burn. THis isn't a demo or trial. No expiration warning on startup. Maybe demuxing?

Okay, how is your Direct Show priority set? It should be at 2 or higher.

  9. Well I can open up tmpgenc...still can't load a mpeg2....I have a cracked version...for some reason I thought this was shareware, so I assumed this was a shareware version. But I found out tmpgenc comes as demo version with an expiration. Not shareware like winrar or winzip, etc. THis cracked version doesn't allow for mpeg2 to mpeg2 bitrate conversions.

Never mind then/...thx for the responses anyhow.
