    Hey I installed Mpeg mediator on my backup machine today and went to encode some VOB to AVI with the Div-x codec 5.02. and found out that I could not compres the audio like my tower right next door!? Same install every thing I checked for plugins that might be located in the mpeg mediator file and no luck. It wasn’t until I tried to install Nero on my backup machine that I was given that option. How and why is that so? And is there a way to get it to use something else than the Nero because I am left with very low optins for the audio, like 56k.

    Often times the most important part are CODEC's that get silently installed with programs. Sounds like you are missing a good mp3 codec.
