    Hi,
    Capture using ATI in AVI format (640X480 - UYVY). Convert to SVCD using TMPGEnc (as per the guide posted on this site). Apply the header trick. Burn using Nero. My DVD is Panasonic RV31. It doesn't work (I still need to run the disk in higher speed). Please note that I downloaded the demo and I applied the header trick and the demo worked okay??????

    Apply the header trick. Burn using Nero.
    Make sure you burn as VCD (turn off compliant), not as SVCD.

    I do burn as VCD with compliance off.

    Hmmm, should work ok, I have the Rv41 (same model with built-in DD 5.1) and it has always worked for me. Perhaps your Tmpgenc encode is in error. Do you just use one of the standard templates and does it play ok in WMP?
