I have ripped Rio Bravo, a John Wayne DVD, and am now trying to use the dvd2avi/Tmpgenc method of making a DVD.
My problem is that after the film studio logo there are three copyright warning messages that are not advancing the dvd2avi audio timestamp, which is throwing my audio out of sync. The warnings are contained in VTS_01_1.vob I/D #2. There is not a matching ifo file for that vob,and am assuming I need one to strip I/D 2 from that VOB. I am very new to this. How do I remove the warning? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

There are a couple of ways to do it but I am most familar with the following.....
Download a copy of DVD2AVI and IFOEdit
Use DVD2AVI to open you movies VOB files. Click the F5 button to start the preview. Click Esc to stop. Now using the slider fastforward the movie manually. While you do this please note the VOB ID number displayed. Now forward to the scene where the "warning" appear and note the VOBID.
Use IFOEdit to rebuild the movie. There is a section where you can choose what VOBIDs to keep. Remove the check from the VOBID that matches the "warning".
If you need a walkthrough you will have to wait until I get home so that I can load the apps and walk you through the menus.
hope this helps.
