  1. Sorry if this sounds like a newbie question. But I was wondering what "reading" settings I should use with Nero 5.5.8.2 CD copy to copy a home made VCD.
Obviously they don't have any protection on them. However, some of the VCD's I've done are supposed to have between 0.5-1.5% damaged sectors (According to Nero's scandisk utility). Despite this they play fine on both the PC & standalone DVD player.

However,if there were any "damaged sectors" as NEro's Scandisk claimed, should I use any special read settings in Nero to copy the VCD?

Are whatever the standard Nero settings used in the CD-Copy wizard sufficient to copy a standard VCD?
    I'd appreciate any advice thanks!

  2. all cd's have errors on them.. even if you burn at 1x with the best cd burner and the best media.. its called bler.. especially vcd/svcds.. considering they use the error blocks for data..

you should be able to do a copy of the disc with the default settings in nero just fine.
