    Are there any files to convert vob files to vcd besides mpeg2enc?

    I tried using ffmpegx but I was told by squeed to install mpeg2enc and I had a problem putting my password in terminal mode because it would not recognize the keys I put. Is there any other way?

    before intalling the mpeg2enc module, did you try enabling the root user with the NetInfo utility and then logging in as root? That should take care of the password problem.
