I have a VOB that looks fine on my screen. But when I open it with DVD2AVI, save the project, and open the video and audio with TMPGEnc and process the movie... the final product comes out really dark. Not so much the brighter scenes, but anything at night comes out so dark you can barely see any action at all. For example, I'm working with Kung Pow and the scene in the beginning is practically black after the conversion, but fine before the conversion.
Why is the video darkening after the conversion? And what do I need to do to lighten it? Should I use a different program to send the VOB file to TMPGEnc??
Thanks in advance!

under video, change the color space to TV
Make sure in tmpg you are not outputting as CCIR601 under quantitize matrix
