The entire message when staring up Maestro which I just got and installed on XP Pro yesterday is "No encoders were found so you will not be able to use realtime preview." I know I WANT to have realtime preview. Do I need to download some kind of encoder pack or is there some kind of file in DVDMaestro that I need to install in order to get this work. Don't want to have to encode the whole movie to have to find out what isn't working. Everything else works fine, think I'm gonna love this.

    install cinemaster 2000

cinemaster 1.5 (the latest) will not work . but you can have both install same time ..

do a bit off a search and you will find cinemaster 2000

after that you will have real time preview ..

cinemaster 2000 is also found on some elsa driver disks called elsa dvd player of something .. not sure ..

i never accually got cinemaster to accually play a dvd on win2k server or XP ... and i didnt even bother to finish the install (after install at first time you insert a dvd it comes up with lic agreement and i hit cancel ) as it seems to mess it up when it sets its settings ..

doesnt mater -- it works with Maestro ..

the maestro installation cd you got when you bought it also has cinemaster player on there -- but unless your running nt4 dont bother ..
i would suggest to de-install windvd/ power dvd first .. install cinemaster 2000 , then install cinemaster 1.5 (if you want - it works very well acually) - , mainconcept encoder (if used) , then install powerdvd or windvd , then ligos codec last (if needed, which i do for anther app) ...

I don't want to encode with DVDMaestro, I want to have the ability of realtime previews. Reading over my post I guess that's what it reads like. Well, BJ_M already answered my question, it works now, thanks!
