    I NEED HELP TO COMPRESS BUT WHAT CODECS DO I USE AND WAT WHAT COMPRESSION RATIO AND ALSO WHAT BOUT THE AUDIO DOES IT NEED COMPRESSION

    what do you want to compress? DVD rip? live capture?
    what do you want the final format to be? Avi for playing on computer or VCD/SVCD for playback on standalone and computer.
