I have this mpeg 2 file which I could burn as svcd but my panasonic won't play those (but...). So I want to convert it to vcd .
1. Every mac solution seems to lead to a vcd which has an audio sync problem. At that point you have to play this guessing game which seems crazy! Is there an automatic fix to this? Oddly enough Quicktime can't see the video in the file (but it plays it) when I try to export it so I can't test that approach. Is there a way to get QT Pro to see it?
PS: TMPGenc doesn't seem to produce the audio sync problem.
2. One can create a pseudo svcd file using TMPGenc which works most of the time. I have tried using the Mac and MMT (using ./mplex) to put the mpeg-1 header on but it seems to think there are too many errors and just quits.
Does anyone have any hints for 1 and 2 on a Mac? Thank's...
