  1. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm using Windows Movie Maker and Virtual dub for capture. I just installed a different sound card because my onboard sound wasn't worth squat and the synch problem was never there before.

    In Virtual Dub, is your Capture-->Settings-->Lock video stream to audio box checked?

  3. a question to tommyknocker. i have a dv camcorder, can i capture a clip using virtualdub?

    i have tried with all the options in this application but i only see a black screen.

  4. Tommy, yes I locked the video and audio together. It was still way off.

    Make sure you are using decent software to play them back with .
    I ditched Windows Media Player months ago. It never plays my captures in synch.
    (If you are using decent sofware then .......???)
