    used tpmg to multiplex audio/video
changed audio from 44 to 48 as in guide
    renamed both files
    ie mpa and m1v
but in stored folder it shows theseas both mpeg files?

can import m1v ok but audio wont import tried to import audio first to be told i couldnt so spruce knows there is an audio file still wont import tho.

Try renameing your audio .mp2 file to .ac3,this has worked for me converting SVCD to DVD.

Renameing the audio file to .ac3 will work. You could also use Mpeg Tools to remux you .m1v and 48000 audio file into an .mpg which SpruseUp will also import.

When I have used SpruceUp (with mpeg2 files), I had to name the video & audio file the same eg test.m2v & test.ac3. Spruce would load the m2v file first then go looking for a like named ac3 file, then load the sound file automatically. Though you are using mpeg1 files, this may work for you

Changing the file extension to .ac3 does not change the files properties,it's still an mpeg audio file. Changeing the extension simply allows Spruce to import it. You should have an .m1v and an .ac3 file. they should be in the same directory. They should use the same file name, for example test.m1v and test.ac3
    Is that wha your doing?
