hello!!! i tried searching b4 i posted but couldnt find what i was looking for. so im having trouble capturing with Albatron G4 TI4200PV w/vivo. i just tried out the video in yesterday and i get these weird lines coming from the bottom to the top of the monitor and then it would get scrambled for a few seconds. im using rca jack from my video out from the vcr to the video in box that came with the card. it has s-video input but vcr's dont have s-video unless they do? do they sell adaptors that have rca with s-video and would it help with those weird signal things? thx!!!
p.s. i forgot too add that i was using vdub to capture.

Is this a store bought VHS tape ? sounds like macrovision protection to me. Try it with a home recorded tape and see if you get the same effect.
