I have a sony dvr330 DV camcorder that I capture using 1394, I also have a pioneer DV- c503 standalond dvd player that according to the dvd player compadibility page will play just about anything. what would anyone recomend (vcd,svcd,or an x) and what bit/res combo to keep all the quality that i can?
also... does anyone khow wether write speed affects the quality of the finished product?

I suggest you use MPEG-2(SVCD)
Writting speed doesn't effect quality at allWanne earn something a couple of dollars?
