  1. i am using nero to make a svcd, the mpeg was encoded in the NTSCfilm, because it was 23.976 fps, template using TMPGEnc. when i drag the file in nero, it checks it and then brings up a message saying the file is invalde because it is not 29.97 fps. it asks me if i want to "turn off standard compliance and continue", "reencode the video file", or "cancel". what should i do?

    thank u for the help

  2. You should turn off standard compliance for mpeg encoded at 23.976 fps. All my SVCD are encoded at 23.976 fps and play just fine with APEX.
BTW, Did you apply 3:2 pulldown when you encode with TMPGenc?
