  2. ya of cuz you can...
    If you have an MPEG with already one soundtrack on

    Now, if you want a second layer... you're going to Multiplex again
    file -> MPEG TOOLS -> MULTIPLEX (not simple multiplex)
    -> ADD the MPEG file
    -> add your 2nd MP3 layer
    *** 2nd layer MUST be an MPEG-audio format... mp3 for example***
    RUN and you have added a 2nd layer

  3. I don't that is what he means El Torro. You are muxing in a second audio stream but they are not going to play both at once.

    If you want to edit the audio of your original film (e.g., a VCD), you will first need the audio back as uncompressed WAV.

    If you audio is in an MPEG video, then you can load the MPEG with VirtualDub and save the audio as WAV.

    Then, load the WAV file with an audio editor like CoolEdit 2000. If you want to add additional music background, then load your new music audio and copy + paste/merge into your original audio.

    Save the new WAV file.

    If you need to put this back with the original MPEG video, then you will need to encode the audio back into MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio (or whatever the original format was in). Then, multiplex the new encoded audio with the original video with TMPGEnc.
