  1. I currently have a WinTV PVR-250 and was wondering if people can share what they use for settings for SVCD's (with our without PVR-250)

I am looking to get the highest quality possible. But for some reason they still don't look as clear as I would think they should be.

I assume once I get a DVD burner and I use the DVD settings things should sharpen up quite a bit..

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. I just got one myself last week, and found I just picked the defualt SVCD template in Wintv200.

it seems to give very good quality, without getting files more then 4gb for a movie

  3. I have tried that to, but the picture still doesn't seem to be totally clear. I can see pixelation and stuff.

Its weird i just downloaded a VCD of one of the TV shows I watch and the quality was damn near perfect?? wish i knew how the person did that!

  4. I know this is old, but I found instead of using SVCD,

I now make CVD and much better quality no pixelation or hardly any even in fast scenes.

    I use:

    cbr 2520, 44khz/224
