From some movies I get very bad soundquality. I use DVD2AVI (1.74 & 1.76) to copy the soundtrack. I get "vert AC3 T01 3_1ch 32Kbps 44.1KHz.wav" (Vertiacl Limit for example) and it sounds like shit.
How to do???

don't change .wav from 48 to 44.1KHz...try keeping it at 48 KHz...and if u insist on doing that...make sure on dvd2avi, u set that option to "quality"
also, if that doesn't work, try normalizing it.. -
I use this ritually, and yes it does sound better to both "normalize", AND set the 48K to 44K filering to "UltraHigh". I do this all the time, and have no problems at all.
When the filtering is off, or Low, you will probably get sampling problems (little sputters in the audio).
DVD2AVI is really the very best program to do audio sampling conversion off DVD's (plus it gives you a project file), if you try many other "solutions" the audio will be MUCH worse (Flask "Extract WAV" doesn't even work!)

Really, I like the VOB2Audio program for this..
use DVD2AVI to make the d2v file, turn off sound processing,,, works fast!!!
then use VOB2Audio to process the sound, keeps it at 48khz and lets you choose the bit rate.. and it is much faster..
it encodes to an mp3 then you use the waveheader program included to make it into a file that TMPGenc will recognize..
I have run it both ways several times.... I feel the VOB2Audio is superior for sound processing.. it is faster and you dont run into the normalizing and dynamic range problems..
Oh, and the outputted file is usually only a couple hundred meg, instead of over a gig..
trust me sounds better to my ears ( I am mostly deaf in the right,, could just be me)

Thanx for your answers, but it still doesn't work.
I only get 32 kbps soundquality and it sucks -
I solved the problem:
Skip the first frame(s) of the movie in DVD2AVI
The first frame(s) has only 32kbps sound, but the rest of the movie has 448kbps (it works, but why?????)
