  1. Please help clear up my confusion. I am useing TMPGen to convert AVI files (using Canopus ADVC-100) to MPEG-2.

Does the freeware part of the program do this AFTER 30 days? Or will I have to buy this program too? This is very confusing since the program says that MPEG-2 works after the 30 days, then says it is Only part of TMPGenc Pro ($).

    Feeling Dazed...

If you want the MPEG-2 encoding ability after 30 days you need to purchase the TMPGEnc Plus version from: http://www.pegasys-inc.com/e_main2.html
    Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack

  3. Thanks. I was hoping not to spend any more money and thought this was freeware.
Guess since everyone seems to like it so much I will have to fork over another $50 to add to the $500 I have already spent.

  4. It's either 50 for TMPGEnc or 1000 for CCE. It's worth beyond 50 dollars.

(That was to help you feel better, it does suck when you spend so much thinking you're done, then you realize you have to spend more.)
