I have a large home movie 1.1meg avi, and i want to know how to write it to DVD-R
do i need to convert to mpeg file and make ifo & vob files or is there an easier way to do the job, what software do i need to do the job.
easy as possible way. your suggestions most welcome

To make it into a DVD-R, you need to make it an MPEG-2 file that meets DVD criteria. Once you have done this, you burn this file onto a DVD-R with your burn software.
TMPGEnc can convert .avi files into MPEG-2 DVD format. But in its shareware version, it is only available for a short time after activation.Hello.
