i have been compiling 3 episodes per cd of cartoon series and using nero to convert them as vcd , when i play back on my philips 633 dvd player some tracks seem to freeze after ( usually ) the first one plays ok , does anyone know what the problem could be ? the nero encoder appears to deal with them all at the recording stage fine ..

Nero is not the best prog to encode to VCD/SVCD as it's primary purpose is burning. Use TMPGEnc to encode to Mpeg1/2 and burn them with Nero.
