  1. Like the subject says, how do i remove subtitles from an mpg file? Thanks.

    To be honset, there's no other way than cropping the MPEG. There's simply no info in the MPEG regarding what's supposed to be behind the subs.

    Some DeLogo filters will give a best guess as to what is behind the subtitles by analysing the surrounding pixels. It is not a particularly effective technique and 99% of the time you just end up with a blurred mess once the subtitles have been removed.

    If the subtitles are alpha blended (i.e. partially see through) then it is possible to remove them completely.
