    All I want to know is how can I rip certain clips or parts of a movie from a DVD to create a working movie file.

    I'm just trying to create little ASF movie files from DVDs. Would anyone know of a program that can do that job? I don't intend to use these clips to play on VCD or DVD or anything like that. So I don't need to know that.

    So no one on here knows how to create a MPEG or AVI from a DVD?
