    I downloaded and installed nimo tonight (unistalling Divx5 free/basic first). If i now try to open a file (even one that worked before) MP 7.01 crashes. If I click on the file in windows explorer to check its properties, explorer.exe crashes. I can open the files in virtual dub fine though.

    Any ideas?

    Uninstall the pack and be selective when you reinstall. Some codecs in the pack can cause conflicts
    There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.

    Sorry, Im back

    I have a lot of "green" with one AVI using mediaplayer. looks fine in virtualdub though.

    Is your motherboard using VIA chipset? If so, you can try download the PCI Latency Patch for VIA chipset at http://www.networking.tzo.com/net/software/

    Just a suggestion. Not sure this can help.

    Thanks, the VIA update did not correct the problem. Maybe it will help the occassional freezes I have when watching videos.
