problems with nimo codec pack

hope im in the right forum, apologize if im not. feel free to steer me in the right direction if im off. here is my problem. i use win xp/premiere 6.5/sb live 5.1/pinnacle pctv card/windows media player 9. i downloaded and installed nimo codec pack V5.0 8. problem is, after that everything i described above was screwed. premiere 6.5 crashed when opened/ creative play center crashed when opened if i attempted to play a mp3. worked ok with a wma. pctv was inop, media player wouldnt play a video or music, no matter what type of file. also a bunch of saved svcd videos captured with pinnacle pctv wouldnt play. they would open and i could hear the audio but the video was froze. uninstalled nimo codec pack and everything started working again, except pctv. their trobleshooting utility said i was gonna have to uninstall and reinstall it. can anyone shed any light on these problems. as of right now it looks like i will have to pass on nimo!

I had similar problem, but found that the previous version 5.07 installed without delivering the lock ups.Try that one.
