    I am having problems with TMPG Enc. When ever I go to Merge and Cut, the program locks up on me. I hit the play button, then pause, but no matter what I do, it just keeps locking up. I am using ver. 12h. Can anyone help?

    This problem has been documented several times. Funnily enough this will usually happen with x version of TMPGEnc with x version of an operating system. Try downloading the 12a version from this site. If this problem still occurs, then no doubt the mpeg stream is corrupt. You can try fixing it with MPEGCorrector or similar programs. Sometimes just putting the mpeg file in cut/join in TMPGEnc, placing no markers whatsoever and giving it a new name will work.
