  1. I'm trying to make an SVCD with Monsters, Inc. But when I try to rip it I end up with the French track instead of English. I tried DVD2SVCD internal routines, Vstrip, Smartripper and they all do the same thing. I am obviuosly selecting the English track, but I have aslo tried selecting other tracks but it still, every time ends up in French.
    The choices are:
    1 French 6ch
    2 English 6ch
    3 English(Directors Commentary) 2ch.
    Hope someone can help.......

  3. It says "Version francaise incluse" on it.........
I can play the english track off the DVD, it's just when I rip it I can only get the French track which is track 1, English is track 2.

That's good since its foremost an english version with the french track included. As I recall the audio tracks are usually 0x80 for english......

If you open smartripper and choose "MOVIE" for rip method and then stream processing it should show you clearly which one is the english sound track. Just keep the video and the english sound track. If you already have the video the just select the english audio and deselect all the others.

I am on the NTSC system...pal may be different.
