    Ulead DVD Pictureshow is one of the best so far. I think this category of software will mature in the next 12 months. Trial at www.ulead.com

    I agree . Ulead DVD Pictureshow is the best making photo vcd and dvd!

    Roxio's WinOnCd Power Edition 5 isn't too bad, either.
    My burner didn't like Ulead, but it worked with Roxio.
    Now I have a new burner, so I think it might work with both.

    of course you can use Roxio or Nero too, but with Ulead youŽll have all the VCD 2.0 funktions (pause,zoom,for-rew..), youŽll not loose picture quality, you can add music tracks on your slides and it will play to any standalone DVD player
