Hi,
Another question for the excelent people here. Which Stand alone DVD players will let me play MPEG1 VCDs at diffrent resolutions aside from the standard NTSC and PAL settings?
I know a few that can, but they don't do it right. They ether just place it in the center of the screen or they do some funny thing that makes it look compressed or something.
Is there any players that will take the image (Given that it is bigger than 352x240 (TV resolution) and resize it in a sharp way, the same way the massive DVD images are done? I mean aspect ratio and all?
Thanks a bunch guys,

Hmm? Most players I know have no problem playing x(S)VCDs of non-standard resolutions, I'm made x(S)VCD at 352x240, 352x480, 720x480 and 320x240 (that was mistake). I've played them on my APEX AD600A, a Hitachi 415U, and a pioneer 343 (or was 434???).
If you are looking for a new player, I'd recommend the Hitachi 415U (~$180) it plays everything!
