  1. I have a question regarding the *famous* SVCD to VCD Header trick.

I go to Files -> Mpeg Tools ... Simple Multiplx TAB, use the MPEG 1-Video CD option, put in the SVCD file.. but when it finishes, it says that it may not work cause of a buffer overflow of some sort ?!

Is that normal, or am i screwing it up ?

That's perfectly normal I'd be concerned if it didn't do it.

Just burn it as is and it'll be fine

  4. As the other posters say, thats quite normal. Just one word of caution though. I have had this happen on several downloaded SVCD's that in some cases TmpGenc has actually stopped early because of an error in the SVCD encodeing. If you encoded the SVCD yourself it should be OK (but so should downloaded ones I suppose!). Just check the output file size against the original. It won't be identical but should be pretty close. If its a lot smaller TmpGenc may have had a problem and stopped early.

  5. Thanks a lot guys for the replys, it worked great, though the quality decreassed a bit. Nothing that could count for a deception, as it still has great quality.

    Thanks again
