  1. Hi
I'm would like to add files to a CVD other than files to run the CVD. For example, I may want to put a word document on the CD... or an .AVI file, or whatever.

Every time I try to do this... and re-burn the CD, my DVD player no longer recognizes it !!?!

Any ideas of how to add extra data to the CVD so that it won't mess up the DVD recognition?

    Thanks so much!!

  2. put the files in a subfolder when you are ready to burn the CVD, you
could call it WIN. Do not try and add files afterwards- any files should
be kept in the 1st track - the iso9660 track.

There maybe a size limit depending on your DVD player.

  3. If you are using Nero, just drag additional files and folders into the VCD filesystem. It's probably not a good idea putting additional things into the pre-existing directories, however, so offline's tip of using a folder named "Win" or similar is a good one.

If you are using VCDImager, you can manually add files by editing the XML file. Using a GUI like VCDEasy is much easier and the preferred option, however.
