I got few svcd clips encoded with tmpgenc by using svcd template that uses CBR. After encoding, I'd like to merge them into one movie with tmpgenc as well. I found that only "MPEG-2 Super-VideoCD (VBR)" availble in Type field, Merge & Cut. Does anybody have any idea about this? Does it will convert CBR to VBR while it's merging?

No, nothing will be converted. But it is the right type field for SVCD. It is important to select the right type, because TMPG does not simply merge or cut, but it demultiplex and multiplex again.

Thank you, Truman!
I tried it and got a movie. But one more thing is strange. After made the SVCD with Nero 5.5.30, I played with my player and found some kind of trail, (jitter with moving object, not whole picture). I looked at mpeg2 clips again to compare the result, the clips are ok. So, is it problem with TMPGEnc or Nero authoring? I made a vcd using same clips, tmpgenc, nero.., the VCD looks OK, I mean no such trail. Is anything wrong with my settings? I used SVCD template in tmpgenc and didn't change anything. Can you give me some advice?
thanks a lot again
