I searched this forum for information about preserving the closed captioning but didn't find the information I am seeking.
When you use the Canopus ADVC-100 and capture an avi file, then convert using TMPGen to burn to a SVCD is the closed captioning preserved or do you lose it?
There was information using Virtual Dub but that program doesn't work with the Canopus capture.
Anyone know the answer? Please! Rumors accepted.![]()

I don't know ( would love to myself ) any software that can capture and process CC info from an analog source.
