hey guys...I was just wondering if I live in Canada and I convert my avi to mpg with 23.973 frames per second.....instead of the ntsc default of 29.970....will it make a difference....will it still work on my dvd player...which is a toshiba....?....because I've noticed if I convert using 29.970..the audio is meant for 23.973....so it starts lagging...and it goes out of sync.....so I know if i do it at 23.973.it'll be in sync..so can I use 23.973 fps...in canada?

yes, it will work cuz the NSTC system has 2 Frame rates(while PAL has only 1 (25fps))
