Is there a way to add a title to an mpeg-2 (or -1) without encoding the whole movie?
I only want to add a title that is transparent on top of the movie clip for 4-5 seconds at the start of the movie. Any software out there that let me do this without re-encoding the entire movie?
Thanks guys

Cut the mpeg up in two parts, one is 5 seconds long.
mpeg tool in tmpgenc will do ok.
On this part you put the logo, re-encode this small part.
Virtualdub have good logo filter.

Join back the two mpeg clips as one.
