I've got a really screwed up problem. I bought a new Lite-on 48x burner, and replaced my old drive, and everything seemed to work fine. I'm running XP, so when I started my computer back up, it seemed to install fine and everything, but it seems to write incredibly slow. When I tried burning a cd at 32x, it took almost 10 minutes. It seems to be getting faster now, but the real pain in the but is that every time I restart the computer, it doesn't show up in My computer, and other programs can't recognize it either. So, I just run the add new hardware wizard, and it says it couldn't find anything, and then it is there on my computer all of the sudden.
Have you guys ever experienced anything like this?? Any suggestions?
