    When using VirtualDub and scan a .avi file for errors and it comes up with a certain amount of frames that are masked and of which some are bad and some are undecodable.
    How can you fix these .avi files to sort out the frames?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    You can do it by saving the video under a different file name.

    Another way is to delete the bad frames and then save. Try the first way first.

  4. Just to clarify what Tommyknocker said:

    Open AVI in Virtual Dub
    Choose Direct Stream Copy under Video and Audio
    Go to File->Save AVI
    Type new filename and click SAVE

    Try to delete the bad frames, and then save it.
