if you put a plastic knife in your mouth and hold it down with your back teet and your front teeth snugly and then flick the end it will kinda give a wavey effect to stuff.. try it infront of your monitor.

Yeah, its kind of the same effect I experienced one time. I was sitting in the back of room looking at a computer monitor crunching on some cereal and the whole screen seemed to be shaking. I'm not sure what causes this at all, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the refresh rate of you monitor.
If you were a parsley farmer, could they garnish your wages? -
I agree with EaBa I found this long ago muching on crunchy chips in front of my monitor... freaked me out the first time too.

Yeh- same here- I think I started to cough and the wave just appeared. Probably sudden jolting to the eyes gives the wave effect. Someone should invent an anti-jolt compensator to prevent wavyness. Could sell it special price with DVD rewinder

This Wavey World effect can also be experienced after half a bottle of JD.
