I've been using TMPGEnc for ages I use the provided video cd template I encode high quality but not the highest (cant justify adding 12 hours for a little differece) and I use the reduce noise filter. the reduce noise filter adds 8 hours but I think it is well worth it. My question is what does everyone else use as far as filters go? What do you guys think is the best filter and why? what is the best combination of filters? lets get a little debate so we can all benefit.

Hello, I am from the old school of it it isn't broke don't fix it .....
From a DVD rip I use the most recent version of Tsunami and the supplied NTSCFilm template. I select 16x9 and use the highest quality (slowest) motion search and CQ of 85. As for filters the only other thing I use is Source Range to scan about 40mins or so into the movie finding a good spot to break for the next 80min CDR.
Voila ! usually 3 CDRs and sometimes 4 for long movies.
(they fit nicely in my 4 cd/page binder)
