I apologize for asking about a different kind of conversion. I didn't know where else to go.
I play this game called CounterStrike ( www.counter-strike.net ) and you can record yourself while playing and then watch it later, the recorded file is called a demo. Many people have combined various demos to make a .mpeg movie. I was wondering if you know how to make it.
The extension conversion would be from .dem to .mpeg or .avi.
Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Don't know what format a .dem is in (propably proprietary) so I think your best bet is a screen capture app, like Camtasia. Search at Google for "screen capture AVI" for more...
