  3. Here is the scoop. I converted AVI clip to XVCD using Premier, AVISynth, and TMPGenc. Video is fine but audio got meshed up. Every now and then (2 to 8 minutes), there are poping noises from audio. I use TMPGenc to split up video(.mpv) and audio(.mp2), with the hope that someone knows about some kind of audio utility to eliminate this problem. I read about this s/w couple years ago, but forget what it name is and where to get it. Wonder if anyone outhere knows about this s/w...

  4. Both goldwave and cool edit pro will help here. To avoid sound problems
in the future, add ssrc and toolame to your tmpgenc folder and select under tmpgenc as external audio encoders. You will also get better overall sound quality.

ssrc is a bit sample rate convertor ..

    like from 44.1 to 48 or 48 to 44.1

  7. I've tried again with toolame as external audio encoder for TMPGenc, but the problem still exists. Now I wonder if there is something wrong with the video frame server (AVIsynth Beta .31). I've tried with AVIsynth video frame server .951, but the server bombed out at 50% the length of the AVI clip.... If you know a solution, please help. Thanks.
