I'va had this ATV TV Wonder for about a year and when I first got it I think this didn't happen. But now these color lines appear on any dvd player they are worst on ps2 but the games on ps2 are fine.

It sounds as though you are running in to macrovision protection, the thing you get when you run a dvd player through a vcr. There is a few way to fix this. Some dvd players can be hacked to remove the protection, there is also line filter and maybe even something you can do the actual tv wonder to remove it. I suppose this happened because of a driver change or software change.

i would try to re-install the card....as far as macrovision...i have the same card and i've tried some programs to eliminate the macrovision but i did not succeed...best bet would be to find a dvd hack...to the left is a link for dvd hacks..........

So I should uninstall the software, take the card out and reinstall?

thats what i would do...my way is if i've done everything else first then its time to reinstall....as far as some of your other questions....i used mmc for a while but found i was not happy with alot i was getting out of it...other capture programs work pretty good but mine of choice is iuvcr.....also i have gotten great results capturing with a lossless codec like huffyuv then encoding to svcd or even as vcd if the filters are in place....anyway, mmc wouldn't let me capture at anything higher than ___x240, when i wanted ___x480......so i left mmc in the dark.....look in tools for some capture selections, test them out, and see what works best for you...i am sorry to say that time is needed for what you want out of all this...there is no 1 selection that is the best........
