I have a video that I shot and edited that was done with a NTSC camcorder. How do I convert this to PAL?
Can I just encode the avi with TMPGENC using a PAL template and then burn on disk?
Will this work? I have no way to test it to see if it works. I will be sending it to England.
Help! I'd like to be able to do this tonight if possible.

A lot of PAL DVD players here in Europe support NTSC, so check if that is the case with the player in England. If it doesn't then YES, you can just choose the PAL template in TMPGEnc and encode to PAL standard - it will work, however, it might have a bit jerky playback in DVD player if original was 23.976 fps and even more so if it was 29.970 fps because TMPGEnc does a lousy job at converting framerates. Best is to convert framerate BEFORE loading file into TMPGEnc. Here is the guide you need to follow to convert the framerate:
