    I'm trying to follow Cretin's guide to dvd rip and copy in 40 steps. I get to #12 and load notepad. Now #13 says " Open the file in your ReMpeg folder called sample.cffl ". Did I miss something? Where and/or when did I get this file and folder? I should have known... things were going to easy.
    And what about the bit rate calculater? I can't figure out how to get it. do I only use it online?

    On the menu bar at the left you will see a link under OTHER for Tools. In this section you can download the software you are looking for (i.e. ReMpeg2 and a bitrate calculator).

    Ok I got past 13. I did #14 made it to #16 and nothing happens. rempeg just sits there, am I supossed to do something else? I really have read this guide like so many times. I must have done something wrong. I followed the pictures exactly, only I put my paths, etc. This is like doing a puzzle. Any help is appreciated

    Try "The Guides" section at http://www.doom9.org

    Go to the "DVD and miniDVD Guides" section and then look for the "ReMPEG2 guide". Maybe that will help.
